Shabby Cottage Shops is a new online shopping mall created for individually owned website shops or e-boutiques allowing them to gain exposure, presence and awareness on the internet at a reasonable cost. Though this is not a new concept, the site was designed and named to ensure search engine optimization.

Our online shopping mall, enables stay at home moms, work at home moms, other artists and craftsmen a fantastic venue to sell their creations at a very affordable cost.

Since many of the online auction sites, other online shopping malls and marketplaces are charging store fees, commissions and selling fees. This is an opportunity for them to get noticed without spending a fortune, while still being able to showcase their products and gain recognition on the internet.

The site was designed to be clean, fresh and pleasing to the eye, which entices both members and visitors to the site. It is also designed to be easy to navigate, so shoppers would enjoy their visit at Shabby Cottage Shops and not get frustrated with the way the site is laid out!

Another consideration when designing Shabby Cottage Shops was to help all of the new website owners become familiar with what it takes to have a website. Many website owners don’t even know what a meta tag is, not to mention meta description, and the most important meta title!

You can have the best designed website, but if you don’t have these important elements, the search engines won’t find you! We are advertising in National Magazines, such as Romantic Homes, Country Sampler and other national publications, thru networking and also on the internet.

Advertising your website is the most important aspect of having one. If you don’t allow for advertising in your budget or join an online shopping community, you might as well be a “stand alone” store on an island with no tourists. Becoming a member of any online shopping mall enables everyone to benefit from each other‘s presence, ensuring everyone will receive the optimum number of visits and sales.

There are three different levels of membership available, each having different benefits.
