Whirley PopShop Site Review

Pop Corn is one of my favorite snacks, it is a good source of fiber, and can be low in salt if you choose. As a kid my grandmother used to make our popcorn in a wire basket popper like the one pictured, like air popped and we added real butter, that was a treat!!

Fact: Just one reason to pop your own is that by using microwave popcorn, there is a product called PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic acid} it is used to coat the inside of the bags, candy wrappers, fast food wrappers, and pizza box liners to keep fatty acids from soaking into and saturating the paper. It has not been proven yet that it can cause cancer, however, it is a carcinogen.
